## Summary

**Make USDA and DOI IT and cybersecurity systems interoperable.** This bill would require the Department of Agriculture and the Department of the Interior to coordinate their information technology, cybersecurity, and information security systems so they can share data about federal land management, wildfire and disaster response, and related business activities while protecting Tribal data sovereignty. - Firefighters and emergency responders: Would have faster, coordinated access to wildfire and disaster information to support operations and response. - Tribal nations: Agencies must consult with applicable Tribes and provide protections for Tribal data sovereignty. - Agency IT and business systems: Requires a Joint Interoperability Implementation Plan that phases out siloed legacy systems without degrading operations, follows federal IT law, and must be implemented within 1 year.
