## Summary

**Counter Iran's and Hezbollah's influence operations in Latin America.** This bill would require the Secretary of State, within 180 days, to deliver a comprehensive strategy to identify, monitor, and disrupt Iran's and Hezbollah's propaganda networks and influence operations across the region. - U.S. diplomacy and security agencies would get a mandated roadmap to detect and disrupt malign networks, including guidance on how these networks cooperate with academic institutions and nongovernmental organizations. - Regional governments and media platforms would see coordinated actions to limit reach of outlets like Al Mayadeen Espanol, using tools such as sanctions, designations, and partner cooperation, and a plan to expose Iran's Al Mustafa International University network and its recruitment role. - Law enforcement and affected communities would gain initiatives to weaken drug and contraband smuggling, money laundering, and illicit resource exploitation, and to counter document fraud including falsified passports and IDs.
