## Summary

**Red Tape Hotline** would give small businesses a direct way to flag burdens from federal rules, guidance, and other agency actions. It would require the Chief Counsel for Advocacy to collect notifications and report findings to the Small Business Administration and Congress. - Small entities would be able to notify the hotline by email, a submission form, phone, or other methods and use a website that makes contact options easy to find. - The Chief Counsel for Advocacy would have 180 days to establish and operate the hotline and would submit a first report within 1 year and annual reports thereafter. - Reports would identify the agency and specific rules, guidance, or activities that generated notifications, summarize the types of small entities and industries affected and their locations, offer recommendations to reduce burdens, and list actions the Chief Counsel took, including any comments or analysis submitted.
