## Summary

**Expands abortion care training and access** by creating a federal grant program to train health students, residents, and advanced practice clinicians in states that allow comprehensive abortion training. The program emphasizes clinical skills, telehealth, partnerships, and recruiting providers for medically underserved communities. - Families and patients in medically underserved communities could see more local clinicians prepared to provide abortion care, including attention to Tribal communities, people with disabilities, and racial and ethnic minority groups. - Students, residents, and advanced practice clinicians would be eligible for expanded clinical training, scholarships or stipends, instructor support, and transition-to-practice help to become abortion providers. - Accredited health professions schools, academic health centers, and safety-net providers could get grants; priority goes to programs in covered states and to minority-serving institutions. Awardees must submit annual reports and HHS will report program results to congressional committees. *Authorizes appropriations of $25.0 million per year for fiscal years 2027 through 2031 to carry out the program.*
