## Summary

**Strengthens K-12 cybersecurity** by creating a School Cybersecurity Information Exchange and a K-12 Cybersecurity Technology Improvement Program that are tailored to elementary and secondary schools. It would also create a voluntary incident registry and authorize initial funding. - School leaders and local education agencies would get a public School Cybersecurity Information Exchange website with tailored best practices, training, a searchable database of federally funded cybersecurity tools, and a searchable list of funding opportunities. - Students, parents, and teachers would benefit from a voluntary Cybersecurity Incident Registry that collects de‑identified incident data to spot trends, improve preparedness, and produce an annual aggregated report that protects privacy. - State educational agencies and educational service agencies would be able to partner in a Technology Improvement Program that helps deploy cybersecurity tools, offer services to deter ransomware and other threats, and provide training. The program must publish an annual report on capabilities delivered, students served, and incidents identified or prevented. *Would authorize $10 million for each of fiscal years 2027 and 2028 to carry out the Act.*
