## Summary

**Adds Emergency Watershed Protection measures to the list of programs covered by the Regional Conservation Partnership Program.** This bill would make Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) measures described in the Agricultural Credit Act of 1978 eligible to be carried out through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP). - Farmers and landowners: Could see EWP activities included in regional conservation projects, giving them another route to address watershed problems on private and community lands. - Regional partners and local governments: Would be able to propose RCPP projects that incorporate EWP measures, expanding the toolkit for partnership projects. - USDA program staff and conservation groups: Could implement EWP measures within existing RCPP agreements, letting federal and nonfederal partners coordinate those specific protections as part of regional projects.
