## Summary

**Prohibit federal funding for PBS and NPR.** This bill would bar federal funds from going to the Public Broadcasting Service, National Public Radio, and any successor organizations, and it would stop public stations from using federal money to pay dues or buy programming from those groups. - Public broadcast stations could not use federal funds to pay dues to or purchase programming from PBS, NPR, or their successors. - The Corporation for Public Broadcasting would be required to transfer to the Department of the Treasury, for fiscal years 2025–2027, amounts equal to the funding that would otherwise have been allocated to those organizations. *This bill would direct transfers from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to Treasury for FY2025–FY2027 to reduce the public debt.*
