## Summary

**Authorizes electronic delivery of required drug prescribing information while protecting paper access for health care professionals.** The bill would amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act so manufacturers may provide required prescribing information for drugs covered by section 503(b)(1) electronically. - Prescribers and dispensers would be able to elect to keep receiving all prescribing information in paper or request paper copies as needed. - Manufacturers would be required to comply with all applicable labeling laws and to promptly provide any requested paper labeling at no extra cost. - The Secretary of Health and Human Services would have to issue final regulations within one year and hold a public workshop within two years on format, accessibility, and usability.
