## Summary

**Targets research and extension to curb emerging tick-borne diseases in U.S. livestock.** The bill would add emerging tick-borne livestock diseases to the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act priorities and authorize USDA grants to improve prevention, diagnosis, and management of anaplasmosis, babesiosis, and bovine theileriosis (Theileria orientalis Ikeda) spread by the invasive Asian longhorned tick.
