## Summary

**Creates an Office of the Farm and Food System Workforce at USDA** to improve outreach, program access, and federal coordination for workers across farming, fisheries, forestry, and food processing. The office would be led by a Farm and Food System Workforce Coordinator and supported by a worker-focused Advisory Committee and an Interagency Council. - Farm and food system workers would get centralized outreach and language-accessible information about USDA programs, assistance to access benefits, and help to become agricultural operators or landowners. The Advisory Committee would include up to 20 members with at least 5 workers represented. - Federal agencies and USDA programs would coordinate through an Interagency Council with one representative from each of 12 entities and meet at least twice per year to develop policy and program recommendations on program access, worker safety, and workforce stability. - The Office would set goals to boost worker participation, measure health, education, and economic outcomes, and publish annual reports to the Secretary and Congress in English, Spanish, and other languages as appropriate.
