## Summary

**This bill would create a CDC-led Reducing Youth Use of E-Cigarettes Initiative to study and cut e-cigarette use among youth and young adults.** It would fund research, prevention campaigns, provider guidance, and grants to health departments and Freely Associated State and Tribal organizations. - Youth and families: Prioritizes research into who uses e-cigarettes, why, flavors and marketing, nicotine delivery, and cessation behavior. It also calls for a coordinated public campaign with the FDA and the Surgeon General to explain harms and reduce initiation. - Health providers and schools: Directs development and distribution of guidance for clinicians and schools on screening, treating, and referring youth to age-appropriate cessation services. It encourages technology-delivered supports and provider education on cessation services available through Medicaid and CHIP. - State, local, territorial, Freely Associated State, and Tribal health departments: Continues CDC cooperative agreement funding and evaluation of community and school-based prevention and cessation strategies. *Authorizes $100.0 million per year for fiscal years 2027 through 2031 to carry out the initiative.*
