## Summary

**Faster congressional notice and detailed reporting when senior military leaders leave posts early.** This bill would require the Secretary of Defense to notify the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives within 5 days of an early departure by covered generals or admirals and to provide a detailed report within 30 days.
