## Summary

**Ban on Chinese-origin seafood in congressional dining facilities.** This bill would prohibit the procurement, serving, or sale of seafood products that are fished, raised, processed, or linked to the People's Republic of China in any dining facility on the Capitol Grounds or inside Capitol Buildings. - Members, staff, and visitors in Capitol cafeterias and restaurants would no longer be served or able to buy seafood originating from the People's Republic of China. - The Committee on House Administration, the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, the Architect of the Capitol, the Library of Congress, and similar overseers would have to issue implementing regulations within 180 days. - Food vendors and contractors supplying congressional dining facilities would be barred from offering seafood fished, harvested, raised, produced, or processed in whole or in part in the People's Republic of China or by PRC-owned, -operated, or -flagged vessels. The bill’s definition of the People's Republic of China explicitly includes Hong Kong and Macau and excludes Taiwan.
