## Summary

**Extends the excise tax exemption for alternative motorboat fuels to vessels that operate only on a single U.S. coast.** The bill would amend the Internal Revenue Code to clarify that the exemption for fuels sold as supplies for vessels or aircraft also applies to vessels described in section 4042(c)(1) when they engage in trade between Atlantic or Pacific U.S. ports, including territories and possessions; the change would apply to fuel sold or used after December 31, 2025.
