## Summary

**Strengthens DHS coordination and measurement of illicit fentanyl detection, deterrence, and seizure.** The bill directs the Secretary of Homeland Security to require DHS components that detect, deter, or seize illicit fentanyl to share relevant information and data and to establish department-wide and component-specific performance metrics aligned with DHS strategic objectives within one year. - DHS components: Components engaged in detecting, deterring, or seizing illicit fentanyl must collaborate and share relevant information and data with related DHS components to the extent practicable, with a one-year deadline. - Department metrics: The Secretary must identify barriers to data sharing and set department-wide and component-specific performance metrics that align with DHS strategic goals on illicit fentanyl.
