## Summary

**Patient-centered academic counseling services for student survivors** would get federal grant support. The bill would authorize competitive five-year grants to colleges to build trauma-informed counseling, academic supports, reentry help, and training for faculty and staff. - Students and survivors would gain access to expanded mental health services, confidential tutoring, academic accommodations, and re-entry assistance after leaves of absence or withdrawal. The grants could also fund a wrap-around services fund to cover nonacademic barriers. - Eligible institutions would apply for competitive grants and must train faculty and staff on trauma-informed, patient-centered practices. Priority would be given to schools with a history of Title IX violations, community colleges, and minority-serving institutions including Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Tribal Colleges and Universities. - Grant recipients would submit end-of-grant reports on accommodations requested and provided and on graduation and reenrollment rates. The Secretary would publish a program evaluation report within one year after the program concludes and funding is authorized for fiscal year 2027 and the four succeeding years in sums as necessary.
