## Summary

**Use the DoD SkillBridge pathway to recruit and train transitioning servicemembers for Border Patrol jobs.** This bill would create a five-year interdepartmental pilot directing the Department of Homeland Security, working with the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs, to use the Department of Defense SkillBridge program to train and hire transitioning servicemembers into U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Border Patrol.
