**Awards Congressional Gold Medals** to the members of the 1980 U.S. Olympic men's ice hockey team in recognition of their victory at the Lake Placid Winter Games. This bill would authorize three gold medals to be struck by the Secretary of the Treasury, who would set the design, and direct one medal each to the Lake Placid Olympic Center, the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Museum, and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. It would allow the U.S. Mint to strike and sell bronze duplicates to cover costs and treat the medals as national and numismatic items.
