**Recognize journeyman lineworkers** by supporting July 10, 2025, as Journeyman Lineworkers Recognition Day. It honors the hundreds of thousands of men and women who keep the electricity grid running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and who place themselves at risk to restore power during hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, and ice storms, including in U.S. territories. July 10 also marks the 129th anniversary of Henry Miller's death, the first president of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, who was killed restoring electricity in Washington, D.C.
