## Summary

**Protect and restore lake sturgeon through coordinated conservation and public outreach.** This resolution would encourage Federal, State, Tribal, local, and Canadian partners to collaborate on rebuilding slow-maturing lake sturgeon populations, identifying and restoring shallow-water and spawning habitat, preventing and controlling invasive species, increasing public awareness, and educating anglers on proper handling while acknowledging the species' cultural importance to Indigenous communities.
