- Renters can request their account records: benefit, low. Beginning July 1, 2025, Connecticut landlords must give occupants a copy of their rental account records upon request. The records must show charges, payments, and any balance owed or surplus paid. This lets renters check their accounts, but does not change rent or require a payment to them.
- Some condo buyers’ deposits fund construction: cost, medium. Beginning July 1, 2025, Connecticut condo developers can withdraw buyer deposits above 1% of the purchase price after construction starts.
