## Bill overview: provisions PRIA read

- Self-driving vehicles can signal automated driving: benefit, low. Autonomous vehicles tested or operated on Nevada highways can use marker lamps to show when automated driving is active. These lamps are optional, not required. Any lamps used must meet SAE J3134 and SAE J578 standards, or later versions approved by Nevada's motor vehicle agency.
- Farm trailers get longer registration, upfront costs: mixed, low. Nevada farm-trailer owners can choose five-year registration instead of annual renewal. Trailers must mainly carry livestock, farm products, or farm or ranch machinery or supplies to or from farms or ranches. This hauling cannot be part of a common or contract motor carrier operation.
