Corrected flood maps for Nelson County

FEMA published a corrected table replacing the erroneous July 15, 2024 notice for proposed flood hazard determinations for Nelson County, Kentucky (Project 22-04-0013S; Preliminary Date: March 27, 2024). The corrected table lists the City of Bloomfield and the Unincorporated Areas of Nelson County as the affected communities; comments are due April 16, 2025.

Where to see the Preliminary flood maps

The Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports for the listed communities are available for inspection online and at the Community Map Repository: Nelson County Joint City-County Planning Commission, 129 Parkway Drive, Bardstown, KY 40004.
