These amended, performance-based requirements apply to owners and operators of critical rail entities.
One-year extension of rail directives
If you are an owner or operator of a critical rail entity, TSA Security Directive 1580-21-01B and Security Directive 1582-21-01B extend the requirements of the 1580-21-01 and 1582-21-01 series for an additional year and include minor revisions. These directives were ratified by the Transportation Security Oversight Board and remain applicable to owners and operators of critical rail entities.
