Summary
The U.S. Treasury’s OFAC just added new people to their special blacklist because they broke important rules. This means any money or property they have in the U.S. is frozen, and Americans can’t do business with them. If you’re dealing with these folks, watch out—these changes take effect immediately and could impact your money moves.

Assets of Listed Persons Frozen
OFAC added one or more people to its Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, and all property and interests in property of those people that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are blocked. This freeze takes effect immediately and means those assets cannot be accessed or used in the United States.
U.S. Persons Barred From Transactions
U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with the newly listed SDN individuals or entities. This prohibition is effective immediately and means Americans and U.S.-based businesses should not do business with those listed.
