Dockworker contract deadline extended
The USMX-ILA Master Contract termination date that was October 1, 2024 is extended through and including March 31, 2025 to allow time for the parties to ratify their tentative agreement. The filing was submitted as an amendment to the Master Contract Memorandum of Settlement.
Ocean carriers exchange ship space
Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk filed an agreement to exchange space on Hapag-Lloyd's CES service and Maersk's TA02 service for trades between the U.S. East Coast and ports in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Germany, and the Netherlands. The agreement is proposed to take effect on March 3, 2025.
