Preliminary CVD Decision Delayed to May 19, 2025
If you import or sell active anode material from the People’s Republic of China, the Department of Commerce postponed the preliminary countervailing duty (CVD) determination to no later than May 19, 2025. The preliminary had been due by March 13, 2025, and the petitioner (American Active Anode Material Producers) requested the postponement on February 6, 2025 so Commerce can analyze questionnaire responses and issue supplemental questionnaires before the preliminary decision.
Final Determination Remains 75 Days After Preliminary
Commerce stated that the deadline for the final CVD determination will continue to be 75 days after the date of the preliminary determination. Because the preliminary determination deadline was postponed under section 703(c)(1)(A) of the Tariff Act to no later than May 19, 2025, the final determination deadline will be set 75 days after the preliminary decision.
