Tolerance Exemption for A396 Residues
The EPA exempts residues of Inactivated Burkholderia rinojensis strain A396 cells and its spent fermentation media from the requirement of a tolerance in or on all food commodities when used in accordance with label directions and good agricultural practices. This rule eliminates the need to set a maximum permissible residue level for those materials under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
