Proposed Options on Ethereum ETFs

Cboe BZX filed on February 5, 2025 (Amendment No. 1 filed February 6, 2025) a proposal to list and trade options on three ETFs: Grayscale Ethereum Trust ETF, Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust ETF, and Bitwise Ethereum ETF. If approved, those options could be listed and traded on the Exchange.

SEC Extends Review Deadline to May 27, 2025

The SEC extended its 45-day review period (the 45th day was April 12, 2025) and designated May 27, 2025 as the new date by which it will either approve, disapprove, or institute proceedings on the proposed rule change to list those ETF options. This delays the Commission's final action until May 27, 2025.
