Embraer EMB-545/550 Door Sensor AD

If you fly on or work with Embraer Model EMB-545 or EMB-550 airplanes, the FAA proposes a rule requiring repetitive operational tests of the main door lock sensor, repetitive lubrication of the main door sensor mechanism, and on-condition actions as specified in an ANAC airworthiness directive. The change is meant to address a jamming failure of the main door lock sensor and will create an ongoing maintenance requirement for operators and maintenance personnel.
