Tribes Can Request Repatriation Now

In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University completed an inventory of associated funerary objects and determined a cultural affiliation. If you are a member of an Indian Tribe or a Native Hawaiian organization named in this notice, you can now request the return (repatriation) of those cultural objects.
