Boaters Barred from Cooper River Zone

You cannot enter the marked navigable waters of the Cooper River near the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge (Charleston and Mount Pleasant, South Carolina) during the Cooper River Bridge Run unless you have permission from the Captain of the Port Charleston or a designated representative. Entry of vessels or persons into the security zone is prohibited without that authorization.
