Rule

Summary

The EPA says choline chloride, used in some pesticide products on animals, is safe enough that it doesn’t need a residue limit. Choline Chloride Tolerance Exemption

The EPA exempted choline chloride (CASRN 67-48-1) from the requirement of a tolerance when it is used as an inert ingredient (adjuvant) applied to or on animals. This rule eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible residue level for choline chloride when it is used in accordance with the terms of the exemption. The exemption was issued in response to a petition from Stratacor, Inc. on behalf of Emery Olochemicals LLC.
