Iberia Parish FTZ Application Denied

If you run a business in parts of Iberia Parish, Louisiana, the Foreign-Trade Zones Board did not approve the Port of Iberia District's application (B-6-2024, docketed February 7, 2024) to establish a foreign-trade zone under the alternative site framework. The Board adopted the examiner's findings on April 7, 2025, concluding the requirements of the Foreign-Trade Zones Act and the Board's regulations were not satisfied, so the FTZ and proposed subzone near Morgan City will not be established now.
