Assets Frozen in U.S.

The Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) added one or more people and entities to its Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List. All property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of those listed persons are blocked, meaning their money and property in the United States are frozen.

U.S. Persons Barred From Transactions

OFAC's notice states that U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with the newly listed SDNs. Americans and U.S. businesses cannot do business with those named people and groups, effective immediately (starting now).
