EPA Clears Certain New Chemicals
If you are a chemical company that submitted a premanufacture notice (PMN), microbial commercial activity notice (MCAN), or significant new use notice (SNUN) between February 1 and February 28, 2025, EPA published findings that certain new chemicals or significant new uses are "not likely to present an unreasonable risk". Those submissions covered in the February 1–28, 2025 period can proceed without extra EPA-imposed delays or costs based on these findings.
