Summary

The Coast Guard is setting up temporary safety zones around tall ships visiting Erie, Detroit, and Duluth during the Tall Ships Challenge from July 10 to October 1, 2025. These zones will keep other boats at a safe distance to protect everyone and make sure the tall ships can sail safely. If you boat or watch the race, expect some new rules but no extra fees.
