3 provisions identified: 3 benefits, 0 costs, 0 mixed.

Adds backup compressor to cut vents

Distrigas will add a redundant boil-off gas (BOG) compressor at the Everett, Massachusetts LNG terminal that will double the BOG capture ability and minimize excess BOG venting to the atmosphere. The company says this will improve its ability to mitigate excess emissions and improve operational safety.

No expansion of terminal footprint

DOMAC says the BOG Compressor Project will be constructed within aboveground structures inside the existing Everett LNG terminal footprint and will not expand the terminal’s footprint. This means the work is confined to the current site in Everett, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
