Routes Removed: Bahamas, Mexico, Jamaica

The MSC/ZIM Cooperative Working Agreement deletes the Bahamas, Mexico, and Jamaica from the agreement's geographic scope, effective May 7, 2025. If your business relied on coordinated MSC/ZIM service to or from those countries under this agreement, those countries are no longer listed in the agreement starting on that date.

The MSC/ZIM Cooperative Working Agreement adds Taiwan and Indonesia to its geographic scope, effective May 7, 2025. Businesses shipping to or from Taiwan or Indonesia may gain coordinated MSC/ZIM service under this agreement beginning on that date.

Temporary Slot-Exchange Arrangement Added

The Amendment adds a new Article 14 that reflects an interim vessel sharing/slot exchange arrangement which will temporarily supersede the existing arrangements in Articles 5.1 and 5.2, effective May 7, 2025. This changes the agreement's internal vessel-sharing and slot-exchange terms for the interim period.
