The National Agricultural Statistics Service will update the ARMS 2 Cotton Questionnaire and the Fruit Chemical Use questionnaire as part of OMB control number 0535-0218. If you operate a farm that produces cotton or fruit, you may see new or changed questions when you are asked to respond.

Reporting Burden for Farms and Ranches

The information collection is expected to involve 116,650 respondents (farms and ranches) and a total of 52,147 burden hours, with reporting frequency listed as less than five times per year. Farms and ranches asked to respond will collectively spend those hours answering the survey.

Potato Questionnaire Remains Unchanged

The ARMS 2 Potato questionnaire will remain unchanged under this submission (OMB control number 0535-0218). If you operate a potato farm, you will not see any new changes to that questionnaire from this submission.
