Keep filing Form 8710-13 for Part 107
If you want to be a remote drone pilot under Part 107, you must continue to submit FAA Form 8710-13 (Remote Pilot Certificate and/or Rating Application) to get a remote pilot certificate or rating. The FAA says this renewal of the information collection will not cost extra and helps confirm pilots are qualified and safe.
You must provide ID, physical details, and proof of test
The application form requires your name, address, physical characteristics (height, weight, etc.), existing pilot certificates, and whether you took the knowledge test or training course. You must provide proof that you completed the knowledge test or training course when you apply for the remote pilot certificate or rating using Form 8710-13.
Multiple ways to submit your application
You can submit Form 8710-13 electronically using the FAA's IACRA system, by mail, or in person at certain FAA facilities. These options let you choose the submission method that works best for you.
