NIH Grant Reviews Scheduled June 23-27
The NIH Center for Scientific Review will hold several closed virtual meetings from June 23 through June 27, 2025 (meetings run at various times between about 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET) to review and decide on grant applications. If you are a researcher who applied for NIH funding, these meetings determine funding decisions for those applications.
Applicant Confidentiality Protected
The meetings will be closed to the public under 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(4) and 552b(c)(6) because grant applications may disclose confidential trade secrets, patentable material, or personal information. This protects applicants' commercial and personal information during peer review.
Virtual Format Means No Travel Cost
All listed review meetings are designated as virtual meetings (for example, committees meet June 23-26 and June 26-27, 2025). Researchers applying for grants will not need to attend in person, so there is no public attendance and no additional travel cost tied to these meetings.
