Renewal of Waiver/Deferment Forms

MARAD will renew the information collection OMB 2133-0510 that is used to decide waivers and deferments of service obligations for U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) and State Maritime Academy (SMA) graduates who participated in the Student Incentive Payment (SIP) Program. The same forms will continue to be used, but MARAD says the total burden hours fell because the forms now take less time to complete.
