No 2023 Countervailing Duties on Mexican Sugar

The Department of Commerce found that the Government of Mexico and the examined companies (Azucarera San Jose De Abajo S.A. and Santa Rosalia de la Chontalpa, SA de CV and affiliates) complied with the Agreement Suspending the Countervailing Duty Investigation on Sugar from Mexico for the period January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. Because of that finding, no additional countervailing duties (extra taxes or penalties) will be imposed on Mexican sugar imports for that period.
