Offshore abandonments won't affect service

Transcontinental filed on June 4, 2025 to abandon the SMI 106 Platform and eight transmission laterals totaling 84.96 miles offshore Louisiana at an estimated cost of $20,431,110. Transco states these facilities currently provide no transportation service and no new supply sources are expected, so you will not see a change in gas service.
