OFAC Blacklists Individuals and Vessel
The Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) added one or more persons and at least one vessel to its Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List and provided updated Federal Register information for two previously designated persons. All property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction of those persons and the vessel are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them. These changes take effect right away.
