Public can watch CCAC meeting online

You can watch the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee meeting live on the United States Mint YouTube channel on July 22, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The notice gives the YouTube channel URL and tells viewers to click the "July 22, 2025" icon under the Live tab to watch.

Public observation only; no speaking

The meeting is remote for observation only and only committee members may speak; members of the public may not speak during the July 22, 2025 meeting. Watching is allowed, but oral participation by non-committee members is not permitted.

Public may submit matters by email

Members of the public may submit matters for the CCAC's consideration by email to [email protected]. This provides a written channel for the public to bring items to the CCAC outside of speaking at the live meeting.

CCAC reviews coin designs and mintage

The CCAC will review the 2026 FIFA World Cup Commemorative Coin Program and the obverse and reverse designs of the Everett Alvarez, Jr. Congressional Gold Medal at the July 22, 2025 meeting. The CCAC also advises the Secretary of the Treasury on themes and designs, recommends commemorations for each of the five calendar years succeeding a commemorative coin designation, and recommends mintage levels for commemorative coins.
