IHS Expands PRC Area for Tribe
The Indian Health Service expanded the Purchased/Referred Care Delivery Area (PRCDA) for the Sac and Fox Nation of Missouri in Kansas and Nebraska to include Doniphan and Jackson counties in Kansas and Holt County in Missouri. The final PRCDA now includes Brown, Doniphan, and Jackson (Kansas); Holt (Missouri); and Richardson (Nebraska), authorizing additional Sac and Fox Nation of Missouri Tribal members and beneficiaries in those counties to receive Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) services paid for by the federal government.
