FERC Opens Rate Investigation
If you buy electricity from Darby Power, Gavin Power, Lawrenceburg Power, or Waterford Power, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission opened an investigation on June 24, 2025 to determine whether those companies' rate schedules are unjust, unreasonable, unduly discriminatory or otherwise unlawful under section 206 of the Federal Power Act.
Refunds Effective June 27, 2025
The Commission set the refund effective date as the date this notice was published in the Federal Register. That publication date is June 27, 2025, meaning refunds (if ordered) would be effective beginning on June 27, 2025.
21-Day Deadline To Intervene
Anyone wishing to participate must file a notice of intervention or a motion to intervene under Rule 214 within 21 days of the June 24, 2025 order — i.e., by July 15, 2025 — to be heard in the dockets listed.
FERC Offers Public Participation Help
