Required SPECU Replacement for Falcon 7X
If you own or operate a Dassault Falcon 7X airplane, the FAA requires you to replace affected spoiler electrical control units (SPECUs) because they can cause the standby pump to run, leading to overheating and hydraulic leakage from the spoiler power control unit (SPPCU). The rule also prohibits installing the affected SPECU parts going forward to address the unsafe condition.
